If you can believe it, this woman has won multiple awards. When people quit treating their animals as “accessories” and “children” and start treating them as animals again, this kind of crap will lose favor.
That’s true for all other animals, but not dogs.
They best way to treat a dog IS ‘as if’ they are a child. That’s the natural condition because our species cooevolved (there never have been dogs without humans and vice versa).
Of course noone should treat their child the way this woman treats her dogs…

Also dogs as we know them have not evolved. they have been breed into different breeds by artificial selection by humans. you could say that comment about the modern wolf. but sadly we here in the USA tend to shoot those.

I’d cry if people did that to their kids too. Sure people dress their kids up in costumes… but this goes beyond costumes… I wonder what she had to do to the poor dog’s hair to make it go into that shape T_T I can only hope it wasn’t too painful or long a process, and it’d look 1/2 normal after a good shower O_O

All this woman has done is cut her dog’s hair into a different shape from the usually standard or sport cut we’re used to seeing on poodles, and airbrushed it with a vegetable dye.
Can someone please explain how this is abuse to me? Because all I’m seeing is a dog who spent some extra time at the groomers, and will doubtlessly have this ridiculous ‘do shaved off after his haircut is judged.
THIS. I see nothing wrong with extreme grooming. I take more issue with tail docking & ear cropping than a bit of hair dye and a comb fluffing.
Would YOU want to be poked and prodded and forced to stand still for hours while someone went at you with noisy clippers and then sprayed you with dye? I think not.
Clearly you do not own a dog. With encouragement, treats, and the right attitude, they actually do enjoy grooming. Its not a painful process when done correctly, and clearly this woman is a professional.
And as for clippers and dye… What do you think getting a cut, color and perm at the hairdresser is like? People do that every day, yet salon related PTSD doesn’t seem to be a national epidemic…
You obviously don’t get it, it’s like the people who bribe their children into beauty pageants then put them through hours of tanning, makeup and all that shit. And most dogs would not put up with what that stupid bitch and people like her are doing to that dog.
As far as a cut, color and perm for a human. Guess what? They asked for it, they obviously wanted it done, these dogs aren’t saying “Hey, I want to look like a TMNT today”. Dumbshit.
